Nahr Ibrahim Municipality respects the privacy of residents, visitors, and other people who use this website. This policy explains the information the website may process and the safeguards planned for its public launch.

  • the enquiry category, subject, and message;
  • an optional PDF, JPG, or PNG attachment up to 3 MB; and
  • technical security information required to prevent spam and misuse.

Please do not send information that is unnecessary for your enquiry, particularly sensitive personal, financial, medical, or identification information.

3. How we use information

Information submitted through the website is used only to:

  • receive, review, and respond to your enquiry;
  • route the message to the appropriate municipal function;
  • maintain an administrative record where necessary;
  • protect the website and contact form from spam, fraud, and abuse; and
  • meet an applicable administrative or legal obligation.

The municipality does not sell personal information or use contact-form information for advertising.

4. Website service providers

The website is planned to use a limited number of technical providers:

  • Vercel to host and deliver the website;
  • Resend to transmit contact-form messages by email; and
  • Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated spam and abuse.

These providers may process the technical or contact information necessary to perform their services. Access within the municipality should be limited to people who need the information to handle the enquiry.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential storage may be used to remember security or privacy choices and keep the website functioning. Non-essential analytics and cookies will not load unless you select Accept in the consent panel. Selecting Reject will keep them disabled.

No analytics provider has been selected. This policy will be updated before any analytics service is enabled. reCAPTCHA may use technical storage when the protected contact form is active.

6. Retention and security

Contact-form submissions may be retained for up to 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, then deleted unless a longer period is required for an administrative or legal reason.

The municipality and its providers should use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may contact the municipality to ask about personal information you submitted through the website, or to request that inaccurate information be corrected or information be deleted where applicable. The municipality may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
